question: ranger school recovery

For those who have been- what's the best way to recover following US Army Ranger School? First and foremost, I need to get back to maxing the PT Test, and then I'd like to get mass in my upper body. Any suggestions?
 
how much weight did you loose? i lost 30 at sfas. jumped back into the gym right away with a heavy lifting routine and ate like a horse. kept running 3-4 time a week. would rather be big with a 13:30 two mile than skinny with a 10 min. gained the majority of it back. just finished phase 2 and lost 26 again though. gonna be a never ending struggle. put it back on just to loose it again. are you at battalion?

I mean I tip the scale at 220 12% BF, right now as we speak and I'm running 15:30 in the 3 mile.....

I did a lot of sretching and light running for 2 weeks.
As far as weight training, I did circut training,4 exercises for 2 sets and rep between10-15. I swam for endurance since it is low impact.
After 2 weeks, I went back to doing run-swim-runs and hitting the gym llike I did before I left.

I was put on this program by my squad leader when I was in battlion. I have seen a lot of guys get hurt from overtraining when they got back. I was just lucky to have a smart SDL.

I graduated 8-99. RLTW!!!
 
11A finished Ranger School in December, lost 25 pounds or so in the process, and has now gained it back at 195 pounds. He is 6'2''. But, as he will tell you, he wants to gain more muscle. He does PT right now, but I don't know how often...I'm guessing 3-4x week?


(Sorry, he doesn't have as much Internet access as would be ideal at the moment.)
