Question for those on Berardi's don't diet plan:

I understand keeping meals p/c and p/f, but does it matter when you eat each type? For example, do you keep your 1st 3 meals p/c and the last 3 p/f? I work out at night so do I need to adjust that in any way? Is anyone having success with his plan? I am getting frustrated because I am in worse shape now that I have been dieting for the past year and a half than I was back when I drank all the time and ate whatever I wanted! Its absurd! I must be doing something wrong.....

Also, I have heard from a few people(I think Spatts mentioned this to me a long time ago) that Berardi calculates a bit high on the calories required. What are you guys running for daily cals to cut? I am 190, 5'11"- so I have been running about 2200 cals a day, sound right?

berardi says it doesnt matter but you'll probably see faster fat loss if you have your carbs in the early part of the day.
I asked on tmag if its ok to have carbs at night if you train late and i was told there that it was all good after training

Bingo.

Breakfast is always a P+C meal, the meal before my workout is P+C, I have a shake during my workout and after. One hour post workout is my last P+C meal. I have two P+F meals during the day and one P+F meal before bed. I have also found his calorie guidelines a bit high for my metabolism. I also take roughly 90% of my total carbs from the meals and shakes surrounding my workout.

java guru that's exactly how I do it. His calorie guidelines are higher than other cutting diets but i think it's working for me cos of the amount and type of training i do.
