Question about diet and lifting

Hi :) I just joined and had a few questions about what kind of diet I should be eating when trying to put on a lot of muscle when lifting. I started lifting recently (I alternate one lift day with one break day), and in the past 4 weeks have added five lbs. of weight (I'm now at 150).
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what kinds of foods to eat or supplements I should be taking to gain a lot of muscle mass without gaining any extra fat.
Please help me!! :D

To gain muscle mass, you MUST gain extra fat...theres no way around it, so youre going to have to deal with that. As far as what to eat to put on muscle...everything, especially with you only weighing 150. Just eat, eat, and eat a whole bunch more, and you'll see some good gains, and eat often with your protein staying very high. Also, dont be afraid of fats, they are a very good source of energy and essential to your diet.

Don't worry about it. Just eat constantly. I thought I'd put a lot of fat on too, but it was weird. It's like the first month of crazy eating, I put on lots of fat and muscle, and after that it's like I just put on muscle but my bodyfat stays the same, even on a mega calorie diet.

You can always cut fat later. That's easy. Just eat to grow, now.
