If you have a few other symptons I would see your Dr. and get a blood test to check your thyroid.

Not everyone is 98.6.
My "normal range" in the AM hovers at 97.1 - my temp has gone down as low as 95.1 - 96.5 for periods of time. It's always been low and only recently has stabilized.
The only time my temp is in the 98+ plus range is when I have a migraine and the temp and blood pressure skyrocket.
What is your blood pressure like?
If you know, what was your AM body temp prior to being treated for thyroid?

Have you been tracking your waking temp. for some time?? What is it normally?? Is this significantly lower than usual?? It could be a sign of a health problem or a sign that your metabolism is down.....

I've been wondering about this subject myself. This past weekend I started taking my temp first thing in the morning before I get out of bed. I'm trying to determine what "normal" is for me. I want to track it for at least a month and then give the info to my dr.

I've read recently that some people can have thyroid or adrenal issues but their "test numbers" are within the "normal" range. It was determined that normal for most people didn't apply to them and that they responded very well to medicinal therapies.

I thought about all the times I had the car keys in my hand, ready to go around the corner and get some smokes and then talked myself out of going.

I thought about all the times I wanted to trade the smokes for food but talked myself out of that too. I set a limit of 5lbs for weight gain and I only gained 2.5 lbs.

I thought about the fact that it wasn't easy for someone who's smoked for the last 10+ years to quit cold turkey and not cheat at all but I did it - and for that I treated myself today.

I know I'll be paying for my cheat day for a week or two but it took a whole year to earn and it was a great boost. I refuse to regret my decision. :rainbow:

Daughter stopped by work, said she was bringing the gran-punkin by tonite. I waited all evening and so far she's a no-show.
I don't mind missing gym time for my punkin, however, if I were to make plans and cancel them w/o so much as a phone call my daughter would insist that I be drawn 'n quartered. Pfffft!!!

Well I'm outta water so I'm off to the kitchen for more !
