Que's Journey begins

I'll toss some protein powder in the oatmeal and see how it goes. :chomp:

Yes on both items. We have 1 guy out on medical leave because he hurt his back lifting. Some of the others are young and don't know any better, some are showing off and others just have no common sense and have to be reminded to turn their brain on before turning their muscles on. It doesn't take that much effort to practice safe lifting. You only get 1 back and it should be strong and sexy - - not crippled from stupidity.

I would be afraid to be in the free weight area of a gym with some of these people.
Ok the protein powder that I currently have tastes like **it in oatmeal. Ok it tastes like **it all the time but I choked it down anyway so I'll see if it helps.
I'll be "splurging" for some ON whey very soon.

Thanks again Bunny!! :rose:

I need a nap but I'm off to #2 instead.....possibly to repeat the Plie' squats w/24 cases of motor oil like I did last nite.

My azz hurts. ;)

I have not cheated on my diet and I have not gone outside of my calorie range this week and I try to watch my sodium intake and today the scale says 161. I'm not hiting the gym so I don't think I've gained muscle this week so why the f*** can't I get below 160 and stay there? Is this my new "set point" or something? I'm very irratated with this today.....

(....kicks something, mumbles incoherantly to self and walks off.....)

is it a plateau? can you increase or decrease your cals, switch things up a bit. I know ever since I stopped cardio arrrr even though I lowered my cals, nothing has been happening with me either.

I am sorry hun, I feel the frustration in your post arrrrrr.

It's just a week...be patient, Q-Tip! Just as you don't necessarily gain when you do cheat on your diet, you're not going to lose the minute you keep within your calorie range either. The body is still trying to figure out what's going on probably. It takes consistency over time to see results!

Hang in there :rose:

Easy Q-licious! Have you checked your BF %? Do you KNOW that the weight is not muscle or bone? You've switched from a sedentary to active job - it may be putting on more than you think.
