Tuesday 8/29/06

Throat is still really sore & my fever comes and goes so no Punkin time tonite :bawling:

M1 - oatmeal, coffee, (Glucorell b4)
M2 - 3 squares of watermelon, 8 oz green tea
M3 - 7 oz tuna, 8 oz sweetpotato, ff butter, Diet coke, (Glucorell b4)
M4 - 10 pnut M&M's, water, (Glucorell after the evil kamikaze candies committed suicide and jumped into my mouth.....)
M5 - ???? (dunno, I need to cook for the rest of the week when I get home - I don't work tonite but I don't feel good either.)

**HELP**
I bought some pnut butter crackers for my evening snack at work and I'm gonna try that for a day or two and see if it will help curb the cravings that I have when I get home from work. I'm so hungry when I get home.............. I get 1-15 minute break in the evening and it isn't a lot of time to eat something.

I'm finding it very hard to eat anything that resembles "dinner" before I leave to go to job 2, I just don't have time. I have enough time when I leave work to go home, change clothes, take the dog out and then leave for work. If I eat something it's gonna be while driving to work.

I'm trying to shift my lunch, or daily big meal a little farther to the afternoon so that (hopefully) I'm not as hungry when I leave.

I'm considering tuna muffins but if anyone has suggestions for my evening meal dilema I would appreciate it........

I hope you feel better soon, all I can suggest is a protein bar, premake a pb sandwich, but the tuna muffins sound really good :)

Get well soon! Just getting over it myself, sucks doesn't it.

Make sure you try and get enough rest with all the extra work :worried:

Agree with CKs ideas on food - also thinking of trying Scorp's PB protein balls; oats, protein powder, PB, I'll have to check the recipe.

nope you got that recipe right for protein balls... just include some water which you add in slowly :)

Another idea or two... is get some of those low carb wraps or pita bread and at least you can throw tuna, chicken, turkey or whatever in there as its easy to eat while driving :chomp:

Gah. Strep! I just got over that. Rest up, hun!!

I keep a scoop of protein powder in a bottle and just add water when I'm ready to drink it. You could do that in between jobs. :)

Yes it does suck and sleeping is "fun" when you can't breathe through your nose and breathing through your mouth hurts. :finger:

Gimme my brain back. I cooked chicken last night and pulled out the lowcarb tortilla's outta the freezer. (I forgot I had them) Tonites plan was a chicken wrap on the way to work. :lmao:

Wednesday 08/30/06

The meal plan for today is:

M1 - oatmeal, coffee, glucorell
M2 - 2 egg whites, applesauce, .88 oz peanuts, glucorell
M3 - Tuna, sweetpotato, ff butter, green tea, glucorell
M4 - 2 eggwhites, applesauce, .88 oz peanuts, diet coke(?), glucorell
M5 - 1 LC tortilla, chicken, water, glucorell
M6 - 1 pkt pb filled crackers (6 to a pkt), water
M7 - 1 tbsp Skippy NPB

I'm trying to get into the habit of switching M3 & M4 so that I have the biggest infusion of food closer to the end of the workday. I work both jobs today so M5 will be on the run and M6 will be on break @ 7:45pm'ish

Exercise:
Freight-loaded pallets + Q-Powered pallet jack = 5 hr sweatfest :garza:
