Purchasing an antenna and HDTV receiver for Superbowl. Opinions?

Have: a 57" Sony HDTV Monitor television.

Need: Outdoor HDTV Antenna & a HDTV receiver, to receive over-air local HDTV channels.

Anybody have any suggestions on brands? I want to keep the receiver under $350 if possible. Do I need any kind of amplifier for the antenna?
