my friend was doing flatbench, and he thinks he puled a muscle, but it was in the back of his skull. It was a sharp shooting pain, and it bothers him when he lifts.
ah god. I had this happen to me over the summer. Regardless of the injury, I still tried to lift the next day and week, but the pain was so bad, i just couldn't do it. After 2 weeks it didn't go away so I went to get x-rays, they said nothing was wrong though. After like 3 weeks it completely healed, but i was out of lifting for 2 weeks and felt so guilty and weak hehe. I'm not sure what to tell your friend, only thing that helped me was rest.
