prevent it? i think you are confused... its a dht which can accelerate it... no steroid will prevent hair loss but any of them could induce it, some just far more than others and proviron would fall into that category

You might be thinking about Propecia (Finasteride) which lowers DHT overtime and can prevent hair loss but lowering DHT is not something I recommend. It can cause all sorts of problems.
