Protein or Gain Weight

This is the 4th week of my 1st cycle and leveling off after 8-pound gain. Is it worth taking a Gain Weight supplement, say Weight Gain 1850, 2200 etc. or just stick to the pure Whey type protein supps. The gain weight types use 100+ grams of sugar to increase the calories in the drink - is this OK - as calories are needed to gain ? Thanks guys.
 
Use a better quality weight gainer with about 60g complex carbs and 30-60g protein. Dont bother with sugary ones unless you want to be a fatty.:D
 
Just use a high quality protein powder and use oatmeal, pasta, bread or whatever carb you wish. Most weight gainers charge you a HUGE premium for carbs. You can get maltodextrin from brewery supply stores dirt cheap if you really can't stomache eating the solid food carbs and just add some chocolate syrup for flavor. It all depends o how clean you bulk.
