Guys, I know this has been debated back and forth. But, in your opinion, do you think 1 gram of Protein per pound of bodyweight is sufficient while dieting naturally???
I do not, but it depends on what you want I guess. If I am low carbing I keep protein at 1 gram per pound, when I am trying to bulk I eat 350 grams a day. I would rather get too much than not enough.
some people can cut on 1g or even less per lbs and some need more. I personally find 1.5g of protein per lbs of lean body mass works for me. Also remember that protein is the most thermogenic macronutrient so it will help you burn more calories and protein will keep you from losing too much muscle
