Awhile back I was reading some Duchaine type (plug in any one of those dudes I have no idea who) talked about nutrient cycling. The theory was (and I speak specifically of protein that was all I remember) that since the body works towards equilibrium with everything then why not with protein.
The theory then goes into why it would be beneficial to 'protein' cycle (example would be one day take in 1gm p/bw then the next day go higher like 1.4 and then the next go 0.8gm you get the idea) in other words keep the body off guard much like one would with his/her workouts.
Anybody heard of this style and have you used it in your dieting?
