Hoping for some help here. I have a thyroid condition from a young age and have to take 200mcg Thyroxine every day and consequently I have regular bloodtests to check my levels. On my last test I had a high reading for my kidneys and my Doc asked me about my diet, when I told him my protein intake he told me to cut it back and drink more water. I want to cut my intake but what is a sensible amount for someone looking to get bigger? At the moment I am 155 pounds and take 240-250 grams protein per day mainly from chicken but with a couple of shakes. Can anyone help?
