prohormones and estrogen

geotracy

I have a problem. I took a prohormone and it obviously didn't help since I have put on 30 lbs of fat instead. Is this a rebound effect? If so how do I get rid of the fat. I lift and do cardio but it won't budge. Specifically in my abdomen area. Do you think there was amortization too estrogen? How does a woman reduce her estrogen or is this of no consequence?

thanks geotracy:bawling:

If the extra fat is mostly in your abs, then the prohormones prolly DID work, but only to the extent that you developed high circualting levels of andro/test AND estrogen. This is biochemically the same as women who suffers from a syndrome called PCOS and it almost always leads to fat gain (especailly around the middle) and reduced insulin sensitivity. The high circulating estrogen levels lead to decrease ovarian estrogen production with increased test production leading to hyperinsulemia......Hopefully it will go away if you have stopped taking the prohormones and eat a very good diet and exercise. If not, you may need to go on some oral contraceptives to get things back to normal.

That's the great thing about prohormones. All the sides of androgens and estrogens but no muscle growth, and that's why they are still legal.
