I go to highschool too, now i have been noticing a very hot girl for about a month now and she said hello to me very sweetly once. I got her mail, and at the first they when we talked, she was like friendly etc but the next day after school, when chatting with her, she just said few things and like ignored me. I have an eye contact with her allthetime in school.
I told her the first time that "I will take u out on friday night" and she just smiled, but now she is ignoring....what could be the problem...did i ask her out too quickly?

She was probably just being friendly and you mistook kindness for attraction. Guys have a hard time understanding this concept because we are rarely friendly with any girl we aren't also attracted to. Start hitting on her less attractive friend.

Show alot of interest then just ignore her if she is really interested she will start trying to get your attention again, <<sigh>> highschool LOL at least from what i remember thats pretty much how it is at your age. good luck
