can anyone tell me if primo is what i need to start with? i am a female and cannot seem to gain any weight, too high of a metabolism.. please help

1- If we only had your stats, this would make our job easier. In order to help you, just help us a bit.

2- How long have you been training and mostly what is your goal ? Fitness look, BB look.....?

3- Good luck finding real primo these days......

helnc-You're on the right track choosing an anabolic with low virilizing capabilities, but unfortunately Schering clamped down on all availability/production of real, legit primo,so most of the primo out on the market today is counterfeit, and often ends up being deca.If I were you,I would start out with a very light dose of oxandrolone(anavar)instead, and test your virilization response. If you are okay with say 5-7.5mgs/day,then you could very gradually and slowly move up in dose.

Why not try some var and throw a little creatine into the mix. I would only suggest this if you insist on using AS.

My stats are:
1- height 5'4" weight is 102 lbs...... very petite.

I have just started really working out at the gym (going on one month).

Have tried various weight gainers from GNC, but nothing has really worked for me so far. I do have a very high metabolism, and I'm not a real huge eater!!! I need help!!! Advice!!!
Need help on what to do to get started. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

Ditto on #3.

You'll prolly wind up using prop if you buy "Primo". Go with some lab tested var such as Denkall var hun.

Actually scratch that, just read your last response, try working out for 6 months with a perfect diet. Then come back and ask.

If you've only been training a month, then I need to rescend my above post.NUTRITION should be the ONLY alterations of what you put into your body at this point.Really take in a high amount of lean protein forms, and concentrate on trying to get as strong as you can on all the compound lifts(squat, deadlift, bench, overhead press, curls, etc.)

Try to hold off on using anabolics for at least a couple of years if you can, build up a good base first naturally, you will be thankful you did,and respond that much better.

Well first of all Welcome!! You have answered your own question really... you NEED TO EAT! Start training on a regular basis and NO CARDIO! ;) Try eating 4-5 small meals/day.

Hi Helnc

I also have a high metabolism and a hard time gaining weight. I'm a classic ectomorph, wrists are 5.5 inches. I'm 5'5" and when I started lifting weights I was 107 in clothes. You have to learn to eat enough. Here is what worked for me. The smoothie is post-workout only and as soon as possible. Then in about an hour have a protein meal. Post workout your muscles are primed to suck up nutrients and grow! While bulking is important to eat clean, stay away from flour and sugar, so the weight gain is muscle with minimal fat. Don't try the var yet, give yourself a chance to learn what works for you naturally. What's your training routine like? Please post it.

Welcome to the Elite boards! First of all, if you want to gain weight/muscle mass, then FOOD is the most anabolic substance there is. All the training in the world won't make up for a lacking diet. Even with steroids (AAS), you still have to have sufficient nutrients for them to build any muscle with. Lots of those weight-gain shakes just contain extra empty calories.

Steroids or not, building muscle takes TIME. Your body needs that time too. As your muscles get stronger and larger, the other systems in your body (such as joints, tendons, etc.) must also grow and adapt. Trying to progress too fast can lead to injury. It's cool you found these boards just as you've started training. They've helped me tremendously.

Since you've only been training 1 month, I'm very curious why someone would suggest you try Primo (or any type of AAS)? At minimum give your body a few years to develop a solid training base and figure out how it responds to diet before revisiting the steroid question. By then, you may be surprised you ever considered it. And if you do decide to use them, do your research thoroughly, and make sure the possible risks and side effects are worth it to you.

Here's a link to an excellent site on training for women. It has info on workouts, eating, etc.: http://www.stumptuous.com/weights.html
