pregnant on anavar?

sexkitten

New member
i am starting a 8 week cycle of 10mg anavar and i know that it can affect your menstrual period. I am taking birth control pills, but i wanted to know if there is a high risk for pregnancy b/c it tends to interfere with normal mentral cycles.

Has anyone ever been on birth control and gotten pregnant while taking anavar??

Just want to be extra safe. :verygood:
Thank you

I went of BC for my cycles and because I didn't want any extra hormones floating around. I have stayed of the pill and don't have any plans to get back on it. Well off BC I have always used a condoms. If your thinking Var will be you BC think again you can get pregnant on it.

no no, i didnt want to take it instead of birth control pills, i wanted to know if it could increase risk of pregnancy due to the fact it messes with a normal menstrual cycle. i am going to keep taking my birth control pills.

I actually know someone who got pregnant on Var but, wasn't on the pill.. She was using condoms. She found out she was 6 weeks pregnant & was told by 2 docs to terminate. She went to a specialist who deals w/ high risk pregnancies & he advised her to terminate cuz the growth of the baby was not going to be normal. Either the mental or physical development was going to be impaired in some sort of way. I don't know if it will increase your chances of getting pregnant but, make sure u stay ont he pill & u may even want to use condoms as well. I know she was devastated when she terminated the pregnancy.

Your question is will the anabolic hormone decrease the effectiveness of the progesterone? I'm not certain.

But I'm fairly certain I've seen MS state that progesterone will dilute the anabolic action of the anavar. You might want to drop the BC during your cycle.

I have no scientific explanation, only anecdotal.

I have done several cycles of Var, for varying lengths of time, and varying doses.
I am on BCP (mono-phasic, low dose, 20mcg) and have been for a long, long time.
I have sex regularly.
BCP is my only form of BC.
I have never gotten pregnant.

So based off my anecdotal evidence, gathered from one subject (me), Var does not alter the effectiveness of your BCP. But this is not scientific. :)

If you are worried, then USE ANOTHER FORM OF BC WHILE TAKING VAR. It is that simple. Use condoms, sponge, spermicide, whatever..... But if it makes you feel better, then use another form in addition to BCP.

Also, I don't feel my results were less because of BCP. I honestly don't think for a non-SERIOUS-competitor, that the impact of the hormones in BCP will negate the hormones in AAS. For most of us, DIET is going to make a bigger impact that BCP. But that is an individual decision.

thanx daisy girl. im a week in and i can already notice a difference. I have been extremely hungry though so i started to take clen with it. I cant wait to see what the total results are in a few weeks.
