A friend of mine does tons of sets probably 24 sets total. I told him I thought that was too much.

Here is my routine ya'll post yours.

4 sets incline(after one warm up set)
4 sets flat w/ dbells
2 sets incline flys
2 set flat flys
and about 50 push ups during the chest workout.
 
Don't mean to ruin your thread, but this topic was covered exactly as you worded it not long ago. Run a search for louden swain's thread about the same thing. MANY replies. It's a good read.
 
here's my chest workout:

light warmup
flat or incline barbell bench 5 sets x 5 reps
cable crossovers 2 x 12
weighted dips 2 x as many as i can do
 
Chest/Bicep Day:

5x5 Incline DB Press
2x12 Flat Cable Fly
2x12 Decline Cable Fly
5x5 barbell Curls
2x10 Incline DB Curls
2x12 Iso Curls

Week 1:

Flat DB - 10, 8, 6, 10
Incline Bench - 10, 8, 6, 10
Cable Flies - 9, 7

Week 2:

Incline DB - 10, 8, 6, 10
Flat Bench - 10, 8, 6, 10
DB/C-Flies/Pec Deck - 9, 7

Weeks alternate. Plus I start out each workout with a light warm-up set.
 
LOL...I just started my first cycle yesterday, so, uh....who knows?

I'm not planning any changes however. I'd like to try needsize's workout eventually. But I'm still making improvements on my current workout. So until that changes, I'm gonna keep at it.
