post workout shake

Should my post workout whey shake be made with water or milk? Fats slow the absorbtion process, but is the amount of fat in a cup of 2% milk enough to do this? What do you guys think? water/milk?

I go for Vitamin D milk. I ambulking and that would explain that. If I wasnt than 1%, @%, or nonfat milk would be a good choice.

Honeslty, anything other than Vitamin D tastes like water to me :)

So, yea it'll work. Make sure you try to eat real food after.

Post workout I go with water. I use whey protein because that absorbs the fastest as well.

Pre-bedtime I use milk. Fats slow absorbtion, as well as the casein in the milk. Milk makes it more of a time-release protein. Either that or I eat tuna right before bed :)

The milk won't slow absorbtion too much. At least, I don't think so. If it slows at all, it's going to be pretty insignificant, that it won't matter.

I like my milk, I'm keeping it. I hate when people focus on the small details. Don't worry about it man. I understand if you're curious, but because you hear milk slows the absorbtion, well... don't take that to heart.

By the way, I used to have tuna with flax before bad. That should slow the absorbtion nicely.
