i've done it all, though never got into smoking cigs
pipes, dip, cigars, snuff...my last affliction was for cigars.
middle range $3-4 per cigar type, nothing too fancy...and i wouldn't inhale so i figured it couldn't be that bad. i thought i finally found a nicky source i could tag occassionaly, like when i was drunk.
but the sechs was too good, i started hitting it everyday and get pwned/addicted.
now i'm clean

if there were no negative effects on my health, would I still be smoking? i quit for lots of reasons with health being the #1 factor and the nastiness of the habit taking a close 2nd.

Got tired of always looking for one and not having it and the shit looks terrible in the cup too, a lot of people saw it and made comments about "that shit is nasty!". Got tired of hearing it.
So it's just down the hatch... how many years IS that, 79-89-99-08, wow.

I agree. Though i did not smoke for 19 years i did smoke for almost 8 and when i quit nothing stinks worse then a smoker IMO its sick shit i can smell cigarette smoke from the car in front of me if they are smoking.

I LOVE Kodiak. I used to smoke too. I personally enjoy smoking and chewing but the health concerns forced me to stop.

I do smoke occasionally (when I drink) but I only drink once or twice per year (and it consists of 2-4 beers).

If there were no negative sides from chewing and smoking I would still do it everyday.

close to 30 now...had a few periods were i went 2-3 yrs without, but for the most part it's been a constant.
never noticed anything negative, kept on on dental hygenie, teeth are healthy and white and the dentist never said anything...recently though i've noticed my gums reccedding
and i know eventually they'll reccede entirely, which i don't want.
so i'm done, hopefully i can knock it for good, i feel confident
only miss it in certain situations involving outside labor...and if it wasn't for recedding gums i'd never quit, i think the odds of mouth cancer are extremely low from smokeless tobacco...i've read a few medical reports about the matter and i think it's bullshit for the most part.
