is it 6oz. or 3oz?? any meat cut with "loin" in it tends to be the better one with least amount of fat.

as with all tender cuts, the juicy-soft feeling comes from the fat (17% in weight), which is 30% calories from fat (animal fat).

loads of quality protein, so if your diet allows you (caloric and fat wise), why not every once in a while?

it's all a numbers game bro.

I figured one of these sirloin steaks with 6oz steamed string beans would make for a good meal?High in protein and low in carbs with only 12g fat.

although high in protein it is high in fat... there are leaner sources of meat
If you look at the nutritonal value I pasted its only 17% fat.It has 52 grams of protein and 12 grams of fat per 6oz serving so this particular cut is very low fat.

For the most part your right most pork is too high in fat but it seems that the sirloin and the tenderloin are both very low fat.The Tenderloin or the filet is a little too expensive for our bodybuilding purposes but the sirloin runs around $2 per lb wich is not bad at all at less than one dollar per 52g serving of protein its worth it.

I think Pork is a very healthy alternative (and a nice change!) from chicken/tuna/beef and when I'm not competing I include it in my diet!
