Please Critique My Diet

here it is...I'm 5'9 195 12% My goals are to lose bodyfat while maintaining muscle mass. I'm taking some fina aslo which will help me get lean and hard. I couldnt get it to paste correctly the columns are in this order. Protein, carbs, fat , calories.




8:00 AM Met-rx shake 37 22 2 250

10:00 AM Met-rx shake 37 22 2 250

1:00 PM tuna fish(in water) on 2 slices white bread 33 25 2 380

4:30 PM 1serving : chicken, red beans, yellow rice 48 98 11 780

5:30 PM WORKOUT


7:00 PM ISOPURE shake 50 0 0 210

10:00 PM ISOPURE shake 50 0 0 210



TOTALS 255 167 17 2080

The fat seems awfully low

You fat calories are below 10%. I also calculate your calories to be about 1850 with 255/167/17. You need that higher if you are working out regularly. Your protein and carbs look good, but add in some fats. Maybe add some flax to your shakes, or eat a tbls of peanut butter. Get the calories up closer to 2000-2100 and see how that works. Good luck.
 
On your 4:30 meal
How many red beans do you have ( one can)?
What is yellow rice (Brown rice) and how much?

On your 1:00 meal

Just plain white Bread?

i have about 1 cup red beans
yellow rice is yellow, not brown. Its a spanish rice from goya. it a very flavorful rice.(my nutritional info was based on brown rice so those numbers are off, i gotta update them)

I would check your counts again on Cal's in the 1:00 meal it's about 110 cal's more then should be.
The rest are just a couple of points away not bad.

4:30 meal

With 8oz chicken breast and one can of red bean your counts are
Cal - 379.6
Pro - 61.49
Carbs - 21
Fat - 3.43
with out the rice.

Just bring this up because you don't want to be to low on Cal's, Pro,Carbs, or Fat if your trying to maintain muscle mass.
