Pistons +8 was a no brainer

I rarely bet hoops, maybe 2-3 games a year, but Pistons +8 was too good to pass up. The bookmakers knew it, but based on sheer volume of west coast fans betting with their heart, they had to set the line high to generate action for the Pistons. As I predicted a week earlier, D-town can afford to play Kobe and Shaq one on one leaving it up to Malone, Payton, and a rotation of Fisher, George, and Rush. You'd be silly to believe that has been and never was can match the Pistons depth.

Kobe and Shaq will have to combine for 55+ for them to win the series. Maybe if they find some other dude's load of spooge in his accusers panties Kobe will drop 35+, but for all intents and purposes we'll assume she only slept with 3 guys that weekend.

I would never bet on basketball, but +8 was a good line for the Pistons becasue their defense is so good. Saying that, Im still shocked they beat the Lakers as bas as they did.
