Pinz in NY

I was on ryvmed.com after i ordered me some pins and i checked out the policy section (which i prob should've done before i ordered). It states that "Certain states, counties, cities and municipalities require a prescription for, or prohibit, the retail sale of needles and syringes. Please be aware of the rules in your location and do not order products if the purchase is in violation of your local ordinances. The purchaser is liable for any circumstances that result in their actions pertaining to the ordering of these medical supplies."

I live in NY and i would think this might be a state like the ones they are talkin about. Do you think it might be something to worry about? I'm getting them shipped to my house, not a a PO Box.
