Well, I'm glad I did that at home!! :D

They have a class at my gym, but since my knowledge of Pilates was non-existant I thought maybe I'd try an instructional DVD at home first, so I sorta get the idea and don't embarass myself TOO badly.

I was still embarassed, at home, with no one to see me. lol

<-- Definately THE most inflexible person in the world. Seriously, a 3 day old corpse probably has a larger ROM than me. I'm that bad. lol..

I understand. I do Yoga in the privacy of my home. I can't even take a cardio class at my gym. I'm probably the most uncoordinated person out there.

:D How do you find Yoga compares to Pilates? (I know nothing about either, so forgive me if that's a silly question)
 
Ill do em occasionally.....has def helped my flexibility in the lumbars and hams
 
I'm pretty inflexible too & very uncoordinated.

Keep with it -- I improved on Pilates significantly after doing it about 3 times. Still not as flexible as them, but I can do the moves & follow along....

get a pilates strap if you dont have one...look it around your feet while sitting and "pull" yourself down

The first time I did Yoga was at that camp I went to in jan. and as I was doing it, i was like oh this isn't so bad, I'm doing better than I thought. Well.......then I saw te video clip my sister in law took of me :worried: I was freakin' terrible, probably didn't help that I was doing this right next to Wendi West, Miss Fitness Universe 2004 :rolleyes:
