I was thinking about becoming a certified personal trainer in the US and was wondering what is the best organization to get it through.

Princess...i'm a trainer here in Houston and I went NASM...go to their website...they are going through the now necessary accredidation process that all the significant training certs are going through so i know they are for real...all the gyms here take NASM (that's why i went with that particular cert) so you wouldn't be limited to working at one shitty gym...if you have any other questions about it let me know

I was certified through AFAA, but I would think all to be ok. You could get a better response to what certification was more common in the area you live.
