Periods and First Cycle

Just finished my first round of Anivar and was on it for seven weeks. During that time my strength went up drastically and I made great gains. I noticed my periods were almost non existant and I started havng headaches and some hair loss (noticed in the shower), and of course became pretty bitchy. The question is has anyone else noticed these side effects and will my body go back to normal and when? I've been off for about two weeks and have noticed a slight change in strength but the other symptoms are still there.
Not to concerened...just curious. I will start another cycle in a couple of months.

Liked the cycle so much that I'm tempted to do something stronger. Thoughts? Thanks!

Anavar is a good choice when it comes to females and aas. Primo is also fairly safe in low doseages. The good thing about Var is that if the sides start to get out of hand you can stop immediately and you are good to go. But when it comes to Primo (inj) it is a long acting ester and if you start to notice sides you will have to ride it out. Your body should regulate itself shortly and your periods should return to normal. Do not exceed 10mg/ day with the Var. You can go 5mg/day to start.

Just when you see you are growing a beard back off alittle. lol :laugh2:

Thanks for the advice bowtech! So should I stay on the Var for the next cycle or try the other? I'll watch for the beard growth...wont help with the dating!

It is up to you on what you want to go with for your next cycle. If you were losing alot of hair then I would maybe stay away from the primo. Besides you could grow the beard and go work for the circus. Save me a ticket!

I never got hair lose from var. No real sides from var actually. Loss of period is completely normal. Are you 100% postive you got var? I know a lot time winny get passed off as var. Now that I have heard woman losing there hair with along with a host of other sides.

Like QT said -- make sure you know what you have. What was your dose and what brand?

Also as far as "loved this cycle, want to go stronger" ... make sure again you know what you are taking. "Stronger" doesnt' just mean that it will be exactly like what you took, just "stronger". Each AAS has its own issues. Esp for women. Primo will present hair loss problems. Winny I just wouldnt' touch period. Other things you can vary instead of your cycle are yoru diet & your training to see how you respond to different combinations of that w/o dealing w/ unknown sides.

Thanks Sassy! I have been on a real low dose of the Var, just to see how my body responded to it. I train 6 days a week and keep my diet very clean. I allow myself one cheat meal a week but even a cheat meal to me is still pretty clean.

I guess at this point I've made such great gains I want to take it to the next level...what that is I have to decide. The Var increased my strength incredibly, I felt like superwoman. I have a great and highly reliable source for my Var so I'm not worried about what I was taking. Maybe just increasing the dose this next cycle and see how I respond is the answer instead of switching to something else.

Also...while I'm at it...while I was on the Var I increased my protien intake quite a bit, kept my carbs low. Do I need to change my diet in any way now that I'm off? Do I start to cut now and then go back up in cals when I cycle again?

Thanks again for the great advice!

Bowtech you're so funny! I'll save you a ticket if you save me prime seats to your comedy show! Any advice on the diet? During the cycle the protien was higher and carbs low. Do I need to change anything now that I'm off...should I cut down and then go back up? And should I keep it a beard or cut it to a mustach? Please advise!

I've seen women loose hair if they dramatically drop bf. Who knows if the aas caused this. If your sure you had var, then I'd make sure you have your good fats in check. Also try to add in some mv's. Those two have stopped the hair loss in my experience when women are dieting. It may be the way your body is responding to changes. It's not a var side that I have seen though.....
