Peanuts when dieting?

Is it beneficial to eat unsalted/Plain peanuts when dieting?

On the Gi scale, it's very low, sitting at 15. It's a great source of fat and protein.

I'm just curious for responses.

Thanks.

I hope so, cuz unsalted nuts (almonds, cashews, brazil) are one of my favorite mini-meal snacks...

it honestly depends on what sort of diet you are on, they work great in a keto diet but on a higher carb diet i would eat them later in the day when you cut your carbs out-josh

Unless you're trying to bring about a calorie deficit in your day.
Just a handful of peanuts contain heaps of cals, and hardly fills you up.
I stay away from peanuts during cutting coz its so easy to over eat on them.

I love all kind of nuts mainly almonds, cashews and brazilian nuts.
What I do is: I mix my 2 scoops of whey with water and I throw only 10grams of nuts on it.10grams of nuts its something like 100calories or a little bit less. I also crush them so its seems it has more than 10grams :)
