**Owwchhh, Back is killing me**

I don't know what I was thinking, but in the mid. of a very heavy standing Curl set, I realized I was holding my breath..I Never Do this. I mean it's not like I'm an amature here. But, As soon as I realized this in mid curl I let my breath out and on my next breath in***POP*** My Back. Not sure if it was a Vertabre or what, but it knocked the wind out of me and put me out of commission. I had to leave the Gym immediatly layed on a heating pad all night. Woke up this morn and couldn't hardly move. I made it to work (Desk Job) But, I fear I may be out of the gym for the remainder of the week, which really sucks cause its mid. 2nd week on. Everything should be kicking in right about now....This Sucks!! Drols
 
you should have iced it last night. go to the Dr get some muscle relaxants. take it from me (I've been throught this more times than I care to admit) make sure you have your back to 100% before pushing it again. If not you'll re-injur it and it will set you back even further.

Well, I did put Icy-Hot on my back but sooned washed it off. ( I hate when using Icy-Hot on a back injury when you breathe you taste it.) It almost feels like it may be the vertebre and not the muscle, I'm not sure though.
 
Dude, some will disagree but hit up a chiro and get that shit adjusted, if it's not muscle you could lay down and walk out of the office 99% better, trust me, from years of lifting, football, abuse chiro is the way to go.
 
I didn't say broke a vertebre I have in the past Hyrniated a disc. I should have made that clear. Feels kinda similar although, It's prob. not that serious. We'll see
 
bro...be careful...u may want to consider some weekly deep tissue therapy and use some core strengthening techiniques and a belt till your back gets thicker and stronger.
