Overtraining?

Hey Guys, I'm new on the boards...was just wondering what you guys thought about training more than 1 time a day? I've been going through a lot of stuff lately, and it seems the only way to get the stress off is to lift a lot. So i'll lift in the morning with a traning partner, then at night around 10-10:30 i get an urge to go back for more...normally I do a diff body part in the morning than at night, and I get more than enough to eat during the day...what do you think? Think this could slow progress for me?

This is not a good idea, especially if you are new to lifting. Not only could this slow your progress, but it could halt it or even reverse it. Stick to lifting once a day, this is what works best except for a few genetically gifted individuals.

well, i hear ya...im not so new to lifting though...been going for a 6 months good now, off and on for a little over 2 years, just the last six months have been serious....i train properly and eat right, and have seen good gains as of late, but thanks for the input.
