Ostarine (MK-2866) and anavar cycle?

Recently came into a bit of Var from a buddy. He got it from a trusted source and already ran a Test/Var cycle and vouches for it. Only thing I am leery of is that it came as a powder that he capped himself at 50mg. He ended up having some left over so I ended up with ~30 50mg caps; not enough to do much with so I thought about incorporating it into a stack. Unfortunately, at 50 mg caps I can't split the dose.

Only other thing I have ever done was an anavar only cycle last summer while cutting in an attempt to lean out and preserve muscle. Did ~80mg per day for 6-8 weeks. From the same source although they weren't powder. I was very impressed with the results, and I dropped to ~8% body fat, preserved my muscle and added a good 15-20 pounds on all of my lifts.

I am looking to do something similar this year. My first year of graduate school left me skipping the gym and cheating on my diet more than I like to admit so I put on a bit of weight. I am 25 and have been pretty dedicated to training since about 20 or so. As of right now I am at 183 lbs and probably about 15% body fat. I've recently gotten back to a 4x a week routine with no skipping and got my diet back on point. I wanna cut some weight with just diet until after exams (first week of May is the last one) and make sure that my diet is on point before starting. What I have read of Ostarine is that it is great for body recomposition. I'd like to cut down to about 8% bf or so and then up my calories and put on some lean mass. Not looking for huge gains but 6-5 pounds would be excellent.The ultimate goal is body recomp.

Anyway, after a lot of research and study I kind of laid this out for a cycle and wanted some opinions from those more experienced than me.

Week 1-8 Ostarine 20 mg, Forma stanzol 8 pumps, Creatine 10 g, Need2Slin
Week 5-8 Anavar 50 mg, milk thistle
Week 9-10 Forma stanzol, PCT to be decided

The problem is that the Var will only last 4 weeks and since it is capsule I cant split the dose and lower it to last longer. Is 4 weeks at 50 mg even worth doing or will it just shut me down? Also, if it is worth it, is it good for the last three weeks or would it be better the first 3?

Also, I was curious as to what type of PCT would be needed/recommended. The last anavar cycle I did I naively listened to my buddy tell me I wouldn't need any PCT. This is the same idiot who has never used PCT for any of his cycles. Luckily, I didn't notice any negative sides after and never had any lethargy or libido problems, doesn't necessarily mean I wasn't shut down though. Since then though I have been reading up a lot more and the importance or PCT. Would the Forma and an OTC product (was thinking unleased/post cycle combo) suffice or should I spring for some Clomid as well.

Anyway, any input would be appreciated.

Anabolics should be for the dedicated, not the slacker. Lose this weight with a strict diet and training regiment. My advice is squat, deadlift then eat

If you're going to do it anyway, as you well know, anavar and other oral steroids have short half lives so taking 50mg in one dose 1x ED is pointless IMO and your blood levels will go up and down the rollercoaster. Just use the sarms and count your anavar as a loss unless you can get more. Even if you used it, there would only be enough for 4 weeks which makes it even more pointless

But like I originally said, you're looking for a quick fix and you should prob just clean up your diet and training/cardio
 
Thanks for the input. That's what I was worried about with the var. Last time I took it I split the dose to 3x per day. Not necessarily looking for a quick fix as I have got my training and diet back on point and have been losing weight consistently at about a pound a week for about 2 months. Even with that I am back to lifting the same weight and more as I was before. Squats and deadlift variations are a staple in my routine and have been for a long time. Like I said, I plan to continue this route until at least May when I'd like to cut up and put on some lean mass. I wouldn't necessary consider myself to be slacker, just when first starting school time management was a problem and I was quickly overwhelmed followed by exams. Have that all worked out now and am back to the diet and training I was before starting. I would only do it once I achieve where I was before and where I want to be; and only with my diet and training in check.

So leaving the var out looks like the best bet then. How would Ostarine, Forma and Need2slin stack in your opinion? Should anything else be used or any other recommendations.
 
I think it's a great start. Your rats will enjoy ostarine. But their results will be dependent on diet/training as with any supplementation.
 
Yup...Sarms aren't a bad choice. They deserve the same dedication to diet & training as AAS, but with Sarms you don't have to worry about wrecking your body near as bad as AAS will.

It all depends on your goals, but I'm a fan of giving my rats a triple stack from SarmsSearch. Covers all angles, they always enjoy it. :)
 
I did the triple stack using Unique and it was killer. I didn't eat as well as I should have but busted my ass with my training (doing both endurance and strength training and am religious about it). Still the end result was that I added 8+ pounds of lean mass while maintaining the same bodyfat in eight weeks.
