Ok guys so never thought I'd hop on but I'm looking at trying Ostarine. Currently I'm 186lbs 5'10 at 9-11% body fat. My decision is based on 2 factors; I have weight lifters shoulder, mild elbow tendonitis, and a pain in my right side believed by me to be caused by a muscle imbalance that get's pretty bad with heavy weight bearing exercises(heavy deadlifts, squats, leg presses, etc.). Ostarine has been shown to be effective at (reason 1)bone/ligament repair and I'm hoping it can help somewhat with my own issues. Secondly, to (reason 2) gain more muscle, performance, and to speed up the process of working out my muscle imbalances. I've been a natural dedicated lifter for 6+ years. I got up to a 650lb deadlift/500lb squat, & 315lb bp at 208lbs before my injury on my right side around my hip. I've still been able to train and have improved my body composition even with my lower extremity being limited to single leg movements.
My questions are as follows:
My questions are as follows:
- What are the recommendations for doseages?
- I was thinking 20mg a day for 6 weeks. I'm looking to be as safe as possible so if 15mg will get me 75-80% of the results that 20mg will and be 25%+ safer/few sides I'll opt for the safer route.
- I need more information to understand blood work such as normal levels of free test, hldl, etc. So any links to articles would be helpful.
- Can I take the blood myself and send it to a lab?
- If not has anyone used LABCORP and do I need a doctor's order for blood work?
- Should I use a PCT?
- I've searched for this and it seems to be up in the air some say yes and some say no. Some say it depends on doses and duration. My question is this would it be beneficial to run a PCT not necessary but beneficial with the cycle I have in mind.
- Please share your opinions and experiences negative and positive. I'm looking to make the most informed decision. Thanks to all future posters. If people are interested I'll log my results.
