I just made myself some low-carb Salmon patties, yeah, ok, that definately rocks!

I combined:
1 can of Salmon 14 3/4 oz.
1 egg
1/2 cup demolished pork rinds
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp Extra Light Olive Oil

Yeah, i ate the whole thing.

Here's the break down:
Carbs: 1 gram :p
Fat: 72.5 grams
Protein: 100 grams

Yeah, that rocked. I should have tried it a long time ago. Granted, $1.50/can is steep.

I have to say I'm pretty full for 780 calories. In fact, I'm completely stuffed :-o

I'm sure that dried chopped onion probably has 2 or 3 grams of carbs in it, but its not listed on the can.

I agree, at least with the tuna is out and Salmon is in. It tates better and it's not so dry. Can for can it's about the same price and matches up on the nutrition info chart. I don't know about 72g of fat though, that seems like an awful lot.

That fat is from the oil which has 14 grams per tbsp. in it

These cans of Salmon have 7 servings @ 5 grams/fat per serving.
The salmon alone has 35 grams in it, the oil has 28 so we're up to 63 and the rest comes from the pork rines and the egg.

I will say this. That bastardly meal kept me stuffed for near 7 hours, through a workout and a busy afternoon in general. Totally awesome.
