I think 2Thicks reasoning might be that if this chick is not completely into him, by Duritz not calling, it will make her want him more.

And even if she is into him, by not calling it will make her more eager.

i didn't give her my number. i just called her. i said, "hey this is so and so... i met you at the club do you remember me?" she said, "of course i remember you" so that seemed like it was going well.

we talked for like 2 min and then said, "i don't want to sound wierd, but i have to finish studying for a final. Give me a call tomorrow sometime and we can get to know each other"

so i dunno what to think. I think i am gonna call her on tuesday instead. what u brolys think??

i seriousley wanted to give her my #.. she was in a hurry on the phone, so i got stuck.. i woulda liked that idea better anyway. that way if she calls then she does... if she doesn't then she doesn't. The good thing is that i called her cell both times, so she knew it was me calling, so i guess she wants to talk. we'll find out. i'll keep you posted

I know how you feel bro. You seem like a really good brolly and that is why I gave the advice that I did (earlier in this thread). Guys like you and me assume the best in people and in the end we get jerked around by confused females. I have seen the error my my ways and I have never been happier.

She pulled the old 2-minute trick on you. You are almost out of the game with this girl. You should only call her back if you REALLY feel that she is unique. Even then, wait 5 days. She now ses you as the back-up cock and that is a bad place for a guy with self-esteem.

Otherwise, cut your losses and chalk this one up to a hard life lesson.

thanks man... the thing is this... she was on her way home from philly and didn't realize she would get home so late... so i can't always assume the worst. one more call on tuesday is it for me. ya know??

I love the fucking drama you guys attribute to the situation.

OK she's out at the club having a good time, she's really digging you.

Well maybe she was just letting off some steam before she went back to studying for her finals.

Now she is busy and finals week is not the best time to be getting into new relationships. I actually admire the fact she had the discipline to get back to studying. She obviously has a good head on her shoulders.

So if you really like this chick understand that she's doing exams and be patient (not too patient).

If you're looking to play games then something tells me she's not that type. She is serious about getting an education, obviously. Not the kind to abandon her self esteem for any guy.

I'd get it off your mind and if it happens, it happens, but don't worry about it. It mostly likely isn't going to, so don't try and force it because that will only decrease your odds. I'd say forget it altogether and if she calls, she calls. Unless you want to look like a desperate ass.

2ND CALL: "have to go" (after 2 minutes)

Bro, stop if she was so interested in talking to you, she would've squeezed a few minutes in to talk, no matter how busy she was.

I personally would've waited until the next day to call her back after the initial call. Now that you've called twice, wait AT LEAST 2 days if not more then call her back. You might start looking (more) desperate if you don't.
 
well i guess it wasn't two minutes... she told me what she did the rest of the night and that she was in philly for the day to see her friend at temple. so i mean we did talk about stuff. Then she said she really had to study and not to take it the wrong way. so we'll see. i say tuesday is a good time to call.

OK update central!!!!!!!! just got off the phone with her... we talked for about a half hour... she asked me a lot of questions about family and stuff so i know she was interested... She is going to the same club i am going to on sat so i will be able to see her again. She said she'd call me tomorrow sometime. So i guess things went well
