What could that be from? I`m 34 yo and am taking Alot of glucosamine for joint pain. and normal vitamins fiber creatine ginger root saw palmeto...

it`s not exactly numb but a burning type feeling or numbness.

I know that my hands get numb and tingly when I drop calories too low (usually only happens pre-contest or during times of ultra strict dieting). Could this be it??

I also seem to recall a thread about too much caffeine having this affect on certain individuals - I'll get a link up in here if I can find it.

maybe you just need to exfoliate your palms...

i noticed a few weeks ago when I was running on the treadmill that my hands would start getting numb. This never happened before. The above mentioned low calories and caffeiene were in place however, so maybe they do have something to do with it.

Thanks. Sounds like it could be me too. I`ll have to keep tabs on things.

My hands tingle about 30 mins after taking R-ALA. I chalk it up to low blood sugar. I'm going to make a point of asking my doc about it next time I get a check up. He's fairly up on sports medicine and he is one of the few internists that I know that promote high protein, low carb as a weight loss tool.

go see a doctor. i dont mean its serious or anything its just he will actually know

burning and numbness in the extremities can probably mean a lot of things so i'd let him/her check u up if u really are worried

My mom has it from tendonitis, she might have to get surgery. I suggest seeing a doctor asap.

Tendonitis? I`ve heard it a million times but what is it exactly? I ask because I have severe pain in both my wrists also, On the back crease of my wrist when I flex my hand backwards. Very sharp pain, but I`m not sure if they`re related.

I just finished a week layoff and came back to worse pain. I`m thinking the constant bloodflow to the wrists while I WAS working out made it less painful, but now there`s no bloodflow so it hurts more. Just a guess.
