NHL: Anaheim @ Ottawa (6/4/07)

Ottawa must win and Pronger won't play. Giguere will have to have a great game like the game he played against Detroit the last time Pronger was suspended.

Quack Quack will do it without Pronger

Why Anaheim will win: The Ducks might've taken the Senators a little lightly in Game 3 but won't make the same mistake in Game 4. Goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere should bounce back with a better effort. They'll have to make do without Chris Pronger, who's been suspended for Game 4, but it could result in a better team defensive effort as they cope with his absence.

The Ducks' "Kid Line" of Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry and Dustin Penner is always a constant scoring threat. Their checking forwards, specifically Samuel Pahlsson and Rob Niedermayer, should continue to do a tremendous job shutting down Ottawa's top forward line.

The Ducks must have a more disciplined effort in Game 4 now that the Senators have gained some confidence from winning the previous game.

Why Ottawa will win: The Senators' Game 3 victory will provide a significant confidence boost, as does playing on home ice in front of their devoted fans. Their checking forwards will once again play a physical, energetic game in the Ducks zone, particularly along the boards. Expect another solid performance from their blueliners at both ends of the ice.

Forwards Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza are overdue to score their first goals in this series. Head coach Bryan Murray will again try to use the advantage of having the last change to keep Heatley and Spezza away from the Ducks checkers.

Goalie Ray Emery was a bit shaky in Game 3 but should rebound to his stellar form of the first two games in this series. Their forecheckers will attempt to capitalize on Pronger's absence from the Ducks blueline.

The senators played alot fucking more like the senators in game 3, and not like some hasbeen team that they were playing like in games one and two.

they kept the ducks down to THREE shots in the third period when the ducks were trying the hardest to press the most.

alfredson was the only one on the top line to get a point that game, there were five goals and people were chipping in from all lines as murray was rotating more lines and more often making it more complicated for the defenders to shut them down.

Sens will win, sens MUST win.
