A bit more about me!
I’m a tall (5’10”) mesomorph and a UK size 10 - I’ve achieved a lean, cut, defined look from lots of interval cardio and little if any strength training. I am one of the small % of women who build muscle really quickly - used to be a sprinter at school (100m/200m) and other general track and field sports and had huge powerful leg muscles just from sprint training alone - I have a LOT of natural muscle and am wary of too much weight work with good reason!! Also have low body fat although I do eat clean 80% of the time. My abs are cut and defined with no ab work whatsoever. Mind you I’ve not had kiddies yet and understand it can be all downhill thereafter in the abs department - *sigh*
I’m 28, happily married and a lawyer in London. I would love a full time career in fitness.
I’m actually very happy with my body right now and definitely do not want to build any more muscle - some women can and do truly build muscle far too easily!! When I read about how women don’t bulk easily I get a bit po’d to be honest. Even a PT at a gym was stunned at how quickly I built muscle and agreed that I should back of some of the weight work!! I am the envy of many of my brother’s friends who are ectos or endos and want to build muscle but struggle to do so.
I work out at home - I hate the male-dominated environment of gyms. I have a high pressure career which allows me an hour a day to exercise maximum - no time to travel to and from a gym, stand in line for machines, waste time being chatted up etc (this has been my experience at gyms). So DH and I have a multi gym with 210lb weight stack, cross trainer, treadmill, step machine and various free weights, dumb bells and barbells at home. Our garage is our gym! Neither of us have problems with self-motivation - just put on some pumping music and we’re away.
Yup, I think that’s it for now.
Tell me a bit about yourselves - I’ve just said a lot about me!!
