In this video, I talks about stress, cortisol and adrenal fatigue.

Adrenal fatigue is very real and it's a topic that I really feel isn't given the attention it's deserved. Your adrenal glands sit on top of your kidneys and regulate your body's sex hormones (testosterone, estrogen), water retention hormones (aldosterone, anti-diuretic hormone) and stress hormones (cortisol). Healthy adrenal glands are paramount to your muscle building and fat loss goals.

Adrenal fatigue is so wide spread in our society because of our constant hectic lifestyles, long work hours, and abuse of stimulants. Any time you are stressed or use a stimulant your adrenal glands are forced to work to activate your CNS and PNS. It's almost like the boy who cried wolf. If you are constantly firing your adrenal glands by using stimulants throughout the day, not sleeping enough and working long hours, your adrenal glands can't keep up and become burnt out. Low testosterone levels, high estrogen levels and high cortisol levels are the result of adrenal fatigue. Ever see those people at the gym who are abusing stimulants and can't seem to loose body fat in their stubborn body fat areas despite being on a very low calorie diet and doing hours of cardio? Bingo.

There really isn't any supplement you can take to reduce adrenal fatigue. The main thing you can do is lifestyle changes and to remove stimulants from your diet.

The goal of these videos isn't to push supplements but the exact reason the pre workout D-spark from n2bm.com was formulated without stimulants is to prevent adrenal fatigue. You can use D-spark before your workout everyday without stressing your adrenal glands or raising cortisol levels. On the rare occasion where you want a stimulant boost, you can then add a stimulant like a caffeine pill or a cup of black coffee to the D-spark. That way your body doesn't become dependent on the stimulants and you aren't constantly raising cortisol levels.

If you think you might have adrenal fatigue, I highly recommend reading the book written by Dr. Jacob Wilson -> https://adrenalfatigue.org/supplements/health-books/

Dr Jacob Wilson is the most well known doctor in the area of researching adrenal fatigue.

it is very difficult in modern society to achieve balance.

sometimes it will take leaving your spouse, changing jobs, or just plain rebooting your life.

to add to the problem as trevor says in the video we overuse stimulants and don't get enough sleep
