I'm with you bro. Eating a Detour bar a couple times/week when I'm on the go is immensely better than skipping a meal, eating some BS instead, or forcing myself to gag down another rectangular piece of shit (ie. most other protein bars). I'm gonna be all over those U-turns like flies on shiznit.
 
So, does the Detour Bar really have like 30 grams of protein?

If not, then what does it have?

If it does have 30 grams, what did they used to say it had?

both of the new bars r great! u can actuallly taste the protein in it so my guess is it does meet lable claims,


IM SICK OF PROTEIN BARS! i eate liek 10 today @ the arnold classic and had like 4 rtds im soo full!!!!!!!
 
The main problem with protein bars, IMO, is they use gelatin as part of the protein source, but it's not a complete protein. You notice they never give you the amino acid profile, or tell you how much of the protein content is from whey and how much is gelatin.

I'd have to guess only half the protein in a bar is from a complete protein source.
 
Okay, so I was hungry Monday night and caved in and ordered a box of these. :rolleyes:

I haven't tried them yet, but my protein bar snob of a sister thinks they're heavenly. Better than the Detours, and better even than the Milky Ways they're trying to imitate.
 
The U-Turn bar taste better then the Detour....it's like biting into a piece of caramel :p
 
The only site I've seen them on so far is Esupp, which I linked in the first post. If anywhere else has them for less than 24.99 a box, though, post it up!

i got 4 boxes of Detour bars (48 bars) off a guy who usualy sells on ebay for $105 with free overnight shipping. I like em, they taste awesome, im used to ketopro by Met-rx, they taste like shit!
 
I've tried both the Detour(snicker's+whey bloatein) and U-turn bars. I like the U-turn's much better. It's just like eating a milky way(from which it's modeled after).
