New Drug Testing policy by the WWE.

Oh the heels of the tragic death of Eddie Guerrero and the recent suspension of Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, the WWE is going to create a new drug testing policy that test for rec drugs and STEROIDS! Now with this being said....I look at it like this.....either this is a crock of shit in which Vince McMahon is tryin to take some heat off his ass or you can kiss Triple H, Batista, Lashley, John Cena, Kurt Angle, and others goodbye because there ain't no way especially the first three names mentioned can pass a steroid test. I think that the recreational drug testing is a definite plus....but come on....steroids?? Everybody knows that steroids are a part of the WWE, hell they are probably a part of the independent wrestling scene as well in some ways.

Lashley is a new talent on the Smackdown roster. This guy is bigger than Brock Lesnar IMO. The guy is just fuckin massive. I seen him at a house show not too long ago....he was unreal. Eugene was rushed to the hospital during the recent tour of Europe and upon being released from the hospital was sent back to the states and suspended immediately. While it hasn't been made public why he was rushed to the hospital....the early reports are that it was over drugs...hence the reason for the immediate suspension.

Anyone remember when Mcmahon tried starting The World BB Federation? That project was shut down as soon as the roid finger pointing started. Mcmahon is just covering his ass. After all, the whole reason The WWF changed it's name to the WWE was so it could be classified as entertainment instead of a sport that should implement roid testing. Mcmahon is just trying to stay one step ahead this time before congress hits him where it hurts-his wallet. As far as anyone actually getting tested goes-I doubt it will be across the board. My guess is that the only people that would ever actually be tested would be the wrestlers on Mcmahon's shit list. Kinda like the random tests in bodybuilding shows-the guys who get tested are usually the guys that won't make the top 5 in their classes.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to screen for class 1 drugs such as speedy, coke etc.
However, screening for steroids is just plain stupid considering that 90 percent of the WWE wrestlers are on it.
I think this is just another attempt at Vince trying to make himself look better in the face of adversity.

They're never going to test any of their wrestlers for steroids, period. Even if they did McMahon would someone do it in a way that allowed them to continue their use. Even Vince himself is on steroids the majority of the time, probably in the guise of high-dose HRT at his age.

I think testing for sauce/rec drugs is pointless nothing will happen over this. After all it IS entertainment! This is just the WWE execs being PC! If testing WWE for yeyo and deca why not test all the actors and rappers out there for the same? Same business in my opinion, Entertainment!! While I don't think there's a need to test for rec drugs, I can see that one i guess. I can't see there being any stroid testing, that's acutally kind of funny if you ask me. I just hope the guys that are throwin doen pain killers are able to get them via scripts and not on the black market, cuze the way McMahon runs these giys into the ground physically and then throws them away if they can't perform, I think that would be fucked up to suspend a guy or fire him for taking them. Granted it's in there best interest technically, but the truthe is, of you don't wrestle, healhty or hurt, your out on the street. You don't wrestle hurt, fine, you don't get paid or don't have a job. That's pretty shitty, but it's the reality of the biz.

Lashley is the only guy that has impressed me since lesnar. hes better that lesnar IMO.
his arsenal looks a lot like tazz's but a lot more impressive coz he can do all of his suplexes but with more power. right now lashley is my fav wrestler right after Angle.

i agree 100%. money drives this man. but this business is his business so can you blame him. these guys are all grown men, just as we are, who can make their own decisions.

and if you take AS out of wwe, what have you got left? people pay to see these larger than life characters that were created by the wwe. if they can run it clean, by all means, but imo it will never happen.
