I am trying to work out my cutting diet, and am confused as to the quantity of net carbs in flaxseeds.
According to nutritiondata.com, 100 grams contains
42G F
29C
18P
27 grams of fibre
534 Calories
This doesn't appear to make sense - yet I see similar figures from others sources - since if you add up F+ C+ P+fibre is greater than 100.
So I wondered whether this meant there were only 2 net carbs (i.e., carbs other than fibre), but this would imply there where only 458 calories.
Hence, I'm a bit confused as to how to calculate the carbs from flaxseeds - what do people think, do they virtually have no net carbs (2 grams), or is 22% of their energy from carbs as suggested by nutrition.data.com.
This will effect the quantity of flaxseeds I was intending to have, because I don't find ANPB at all filling, so whilst useful on a bulk, flaxseeds with its fibre does seem to increase satiety and therefore for me is a better fat sources.
