I started up the 5x5 tonight, and I got two questions... I started off with the flat bench 170 5x5 like you said before to me, after that I hit incline dumbells for 2 sets of 8-10 (failure)..and my other exercise I used Incline Flies 2 sets of 10.
My questions are, #1 I didnt really feel like this was quite enough for me, so I threw in 2 sets of cable crossovers to hit the inner chest a little more....is this okay? Or next time should I sub the crossovers for one of the two secondary exercises?
And Question 2...I'm following your routine pretty closely, and tomorrow will call for shoulders/back, now I felt a good amount of work to the shoulders tonight, a little more than normal....will it be okay to do them tomorrow? or will I overtrain if I continue the routine like this?
