needsize, got another question

I started up the 5x5 tonight, and I got two questions... I started off with the flat bench 170 5x5 like you said before to me, after that I hit incline dumbells for 2 sets of 8-10 (failure)..and my other exercise I used Incline Flies 2 sets of 10.

My questions are, #1 I didnt really feel like this was quite enough for me, so I threw in 2 sets of cable crossovers to hit the inner chest a little more....is this okay? Or next time should I sub the crossovers for one of the two secondary exercises?

And Question 2...I'm following your routine pretty closely, and tomorrow will call for shoulders/back, now I felt a good amount of work to the shoulders tonight, a little more than normal....will it be okay to do them tomorrow? or will I overtrain if I continue the routine like this?

The work you're doing may not seem like enough, but when you keep adding weight to it every week your body will grow to adapt; dont be in a hurry to add extra exercises as they may hinder growth
Try shoulder/sback as scheduled and see how it feels, I've been doing it for years and it doesnt over train me, but try it yourself and see how it feels. On my schedule I have 2 days rest afterwards which does help
 
i dont know what he took, what he looked like, are anyting about him.

i just dont take advice from roid users, like guys at my gym..

sure his methods work, but dont compare his results to a person

who uses 5x5 who is clean.. its not fair...

THANK YOU, Oak, I sure hope that wasnt a shot at me as he is right, I only started my first cycle just over a year ago, and was already big and very strong long before then
 
If you mean have I taken steroids, yes, I've run a few cycles in the past year, which has never been a secret. I put in 10 years in the gym before I ever touched a needle, hell, I didnt miss ONE sceduled workout in the last five years. I had a raw dead of 540lbs and a squat of just over 500 while still natural.
The 5x5 put close to 50lbs on my frame while still natural, and another 35lbs since

Must be because roid users are clueless, I just dont understand some people.
