Need an Anabolic Veteran Please!

First off, thanks for reading! I want to get across the point that I'm not yet starting a cycle, but I still need more info to get everything perfect. I am 22 years old, 6'2/210Lbs. I've been in the weight room since 8th grade, but I wouldn't call that the "start" of my training. I earned my NASM Personal training certification 2 years ago.

I am physically mature enough to handle a cycle and have the training knowledge as well. Totally healthy, no allergies, family issues, nothing. I am still researching AAS, reading books and forums mostly. From what I've seen it looks like Test is the best way to go for the first cycle, having the least androgenic effects and bypassing liver problems as an oil injectable.

My biggest questions are on the PCT side of things (have a lot of bookmarked pages to read yet, busy life!) It seems like the argument lies within Clomid and Nolvadex? From what I've seen, you just vary your dosage (of either) and gradually taper off as the weeks go by. I've only seen them in pill form, so is it really that easy? Just a few pills after the cycle is done, tapering down your mg/s until you're done?

What I'm looking at would be a 10 to 12 week cycle of 400mg of test-cypionate per week, and possibly stacking with Dianabol for the first 4 weeks (40mg/5 days per week). Following PCT for however long (like I said, that's where my greatest ignorance lies) and ultimately taking the next 10-12 weeks off the gear.

Please point out anything I'm missing, I'm here to get corrected. My diet is solid, breakfast is oatmeal + 6 egg whites/1 yolk w/ english muffin w/ jelly. Water all day, I cook my chicken 3 times per week, alternating with fish (talapia mostly, hey its cheap) and I toss in those microwave veggies for my carbs (mixed veggies/peas/broccoli/whatev) I also eat a lot of cereal. It's winter so I don't care about the extra carbs. I supplement with shakes twice daily, once always right after workout.

First off with a proper PCT tapering is from the test isnt needed. So run 400mg throughout from start to finish. IMHO, you should drop the dbol on your first cycle. You will get incredible gains with test only for the 1st time. The best advice for standard pct, we have a thread just for PCT. However, the most used methods for PCT is a Nolvedex & Clomid combo.
For example after your last shot of test wait 1 week and do as follows:
Week 1 40 mg nolvedex & 100mg Clomid per day
Week 2 30 mg Nolvedex & 50 mg Clomid per day
Week 3 20 mg Nolvedex & 50 mg Clomid per day
Week 4 20mg Nolvedex & 50mg Clomid per day
Clomid is used primarily to stimulate the testicles so they can start producing natural again. Novedex alone doesnt do a great job. Nolvedex is to primarily rid estrogen which is built up in the body from the cycle which can and does cause sides, in addition it does take a part in bringing back natural just not the level as a clomid or hcg would.

How bout some karm for that lol
 
Its better to do it this way ,most Vials come in 10ml vials 250ml per vial so 2 will equal a 10 week cycle. at 500wk, You will need some Arimidex and Nova,also unleashed -HCRegenerate

Thanks for the advice everyone! I'll be reading up on the PCT for sure, the HCGenerate seems great, but I'll definitely do bit more research before I decide what my PCT will be. Thanks again!
 
you're a decent size and of age, and I like you've been training for a long time. good stuff bro!
Pct can be complicated if you make it out to be. there are plenty of supps out there that do better than the old school pct supps did like clomid, and nolva. adex or aromasin is good for pct also. hcg is always good to have, either run throughout starting mid cycle or the first few weeks of pct, hcgenerate acts like hcg and can be run at either time as well. or both! sustain alpha, unleashed and post cycle are other great products many guys have used and have had success with.
Agree with radar with the 500mgs of test e or c, I used the same for my first cycle and I got over 250 at your height ( started at 225 tho), but I used dbol for the first 6 weeks at 30mgs also!:) that def helped a ton! I was your age also. Make sure you have everything available before you start, know how to inject, aspirate etc before starting, always nice to do that extra research, which looks like you have done a lot!

first when you read I guys advice like this disregard it. You asked for a vets advice and you got a guy who don't even know what nolvadex is or does lol.. Nolvadex does not "rid the body of estrogen" lmao not even close.

It blocks the extrogen receptors by taking up the receptors so estrogen cant. Pretty much it is a synthetic estrogen. SERMS is what they are called. Selective estrogen receptor modulators.

Anway the advice that radar has givn is spot on. Hcgenerate for the last 8 weeks of the cycle 5 caps ed. unleashed/postcycle/sustain alpha for pct. little clomid 25mg at most is ok too.

PCT varies on who you ask. Some like clomid, some nolva, or both plus arimidex thru the cycle, and they all work well and do their job. Personally i like to run arimidex thru the cycle and finish off with 3 weeks of clomid and nolvadex.

clomid 100mg/day first week, then 50mg/day for following 2 weeks
nolvadex 30mg/day first week, then 20mg/day for following 2 weeks

If you're running cypionate, no need to start this right after your last shot.. wait a week. Good luck on the cycle!

I also appreciate the fact that u take the time to research before taking the plunge. I wish more people would do that. Fewer peebs would do stupid things and hurt themselves and it would be easier to combat that evil rep amongst "civilians" anything related to steroids have. So: Kudos right there bro!

Now i'm probably going to catch some flak for this but I don't think test alone is the perfect first cycle. I think primo alone is. 400 mg primo ew for 8 weeks. Less sides and faster recovery. Any gain will be pure lean bodymass. Test alone is the next best thing but for a firsttimer I think primo can't be beat.

This way you can hold off on the test until it's truly needed. Testosterone really is a very strong hormone you know. Something that people here who use it routinely sometimes tend to forget. I myself wish i'd held off on the test in the beginning of my "career". That way I might've needed less now.

Anyways. Test alone IS a proven method so don't worry if you choose that way. I just think there is an even better way. The advice given above is sound. Do yourself the favor and take radar up on that offer on a diet check. Peebs pay good money for the kind of expertise you are offered freely there.
