No. 8 Illinois (22-4) at Michigan (17-7) 7:00 pm EST

ANN ARBOR, Michigan (Ticker) -- After a brief hiccup, No. 8 Illinois
appears to be back on track and has a Big Ten title in its sights.

The Illini looks to move into a first-place tie with Iowa when
they travel to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan on Tuesday.

After a two-game losing skid that included a shocking 66-65 home
loss to Penn State, Illinois (22-4, 8-4 Big Ten) has won its
last two and is tied in the loss column with Iowa, Ohio State
and Wisconsin.

The Illini are coming off a 70-58 victory over Indiana on
Sunday. James Augustine scored 18 points and grabbed 10
rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season and senior
guard Dee Brown added 10 points.

Augustine and Brown tied the school record for career wins (110)
in the victory and will try to set up a key conference showdown
on Saturday when they host Iowa.

Michigan (17-7, 7-6) was among the conference leaders at the
beginning of the month but has lost four of five to drop from
contention.

The Wolverines are coming off a 90-71 thrashing at Michigan
State. Daniel Horton led Michigan with 19 points but shot only
6-of-17 from the field.

Michigan leads the series, 79-67, but Illinois has had a decided
advantage in recent matchups. The Illini have won 11 straight
over the Wolverines and 14 of the last 15. Michigan's last
victory in the series was a 95-91 double-overtime victory in
2000. Illinois won the first meeting this season, 79-74, on
January 14 behind 26 points from Brown and 23 from Augustine.
