*Suns hope to have Nash back when they host Timberwolves*

Minnesota (26-35) at Phoenix (42-18) 9:00 pm EST
PHOENIX (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Suns hope to have their
leader back in uniform when they host the struggling Minnesota
Timberwolves on Saturday.
Reigning MVP Steve Nash was forced to sit out Thursday's game
against San Antonio because of a sprained right ankle which he
suffered in the third quarter of Monday's road win against New
Orleans.
Without Nash and backup point guard Leandro Barbosa, who has a
right groin strain, the Suns were pounded, 117-93, by the
defending champions.
Shawn Marion collected 18 points and 11 rebounds and Boris Diaw
added 16 and nine for Phoenix, which had its season-high 11-game
winning streak halted.
The Timberwolves, who went to the Western Conference finals just
two seasons ago, have won just five of their last 18 games and
are five games in back of the Hornets for the eighth and final
playoff spot in the conference.
The Timberwolves haven't won a road game since posting a 103-101
triumph here on February 6.
