*Pistons aim for 13th straight victory in Chicago*
--------------------------------------------------
Detroit (44-9) at Chicago (24-29) 8:30 pm EST
CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons hope that the United
Center once again brings them together.
Having won their last 12 visits to the "Windy City," the Pistons
look to keep that run going and snap out of a mini-road funk
Friday when they take on the Chicago Bulls.
Detroit has not lost here since January 22, 2000, and has won 21
of its last 24 overall meetings with Chicago.
However, the two-time defending Eastern Conference champions
have lost three of their last four games away from home - the
worst road slump of the season for the team that owns a 19-7
road mark as part of the league's best overall record.
The Pistons have won three straight games, however, following
their 88-83 victory over Indiana on Thursday.
Rasheed Wallace scored 28 points, Chauncey Billups 14 and fellow
All-Star Ben Wallace chipped in 13, eight rebounds and five
blocks as Detroit held its opponent under 103 points for the
27th straight game.
Chicago has won four of its last five home contests following
Wednesday's 97-91 triumph over Milwaukee. Kirk Hinrich scored
26 points and Ben Gordon added 19 for the Bulls, who held a
51-42 rebounding advantage.
