*Raptors look to tie NBA record against Denver*

one 3-pointer shy of tying an NBA record on Friday as they
welcome the surging Denver Nuggets.
Peterson scored 31 points and Mike James contributed 30 and
seven assists in Wednesday's heartbreaking 98-97 loss to
Cleveland as Damon Jones drained the game winning 3-pointer at
the buzzer for the Cavaliers.
With their first basket from the arc, the Raptors will tie the
league record for most consecutive games with at least one
3-pointer. Miami holds the record with 594 straight games.
Toronto has connected on 3,372 shots from the arc during this
steak, spanning over seven seasons with a total of 40 players
contributing, led by Peterson's club-leading 644 triples.
James, who will become a free agent at the end of the season,
has been lighting up opponents recently. The seven-year
veteran from Duquesne is averaging 25 points and over five
assists in his last six contests.
Carmelo Anthony had 29 points and 10 rebounds and Marcus Camby
collected 13, 14 and five blocks as the Nuggets rallied from a
14-point third-quarter deficit and posted a 97-93 decision
over Philadelphia on Thursday.
The Nuggets look to complete the season sweep after posting a
107-101 triumph on January 23 as Anthony poured in 37 points.
