Name something you are proud of.

It can be anything from waking up on time this morning to winning a medal in a contest.

Me...I'm proud of the fact that I ran 5 miles yesterday without stopping. I don't think I've done that since my senior year in high school. It felt great and I think I will actually try it again this evening.

Who's next?

graduating high school, its not something to uncommon but I honestly had doubts I would make it and I had a A average when I graduated.

also not letting myself fall into a bad crowd where I would have spent time on the street causing trouble,I decided to workout and be contructive with my time

I'm proud that I no longer feel the immediate urge to masturbate whenever I see a mannequin in a store.

Well I was the caddy to the Dali Lama onceand he was about to stiff me on a tip 'Big hitter the Lama Long, and I said 'Hey Lama how bout' a little something, you know for the effort?' and he says "There won't be any money but when you die on your deathbed you will receive total consciousness' So I got that going for me which is nice.

Having the highest score in an anatomy class containing around 200 students.

Bench pressing over 400.
My child.

Things I'm not proud of. Too numerous to list.

LOL. No, not this time...and there was no food hanging in the trees, either! I probably would have been able to run farther had there been some. I guess I was just really motivated!

Drunken Weasel...that was a crappy answer. Consider yourself lucky. You are healthy and woke up this morning. There are quite a few people in this world who cannot say the same. That is something positive. Now get your head out of your butt and realize that!!!

SSME...you never answered the question! :)

Great things to be proud of biteme!

Austin...that's a good quality that you will never lose! :)

I feel better now then I have felt at any time in my life... but, I still don't have anything to be proud of.

In the past 3 years I am most proud of building up my frame from bone rack to a respectable build, as well as going from reading nothing at all to reading a few books a month.

My parents - Came to Australia with nothing from a tiny village in Greece, no formal primary or high school education, couldn't speak a word of English. After busting their ass for 25 years, they are now living comfortably in the best country and city in the world.

Thats the thing.. their isnt anything that I have "Always wanted to do"... I'm a waste of air on this planet. I serve no purpose. As much as it sounds like im depressed as usual.. im not really.. I'm not feeling to bad about most of myself.. but.. I do infact serve no "purpose".

You only serve no purpose because you CHOOSE to serve no purpose. Get out there and do something about it.

Choose to serve no purpose?... What could I do to "serve a purpose"?... Nothing that I am aware of. I am not skilled or gifted in anything that will help me.. I am mediocre in everything... lol, sorry, but the only reason I keep living is for 1 purpose; The hope that maybe some day, although very unlikely, I will actually find love. Love is all that matters to me, not money, not power, not social status.

I will be waiting a long time though...

Its a shame that you are young and have your whole life to live and you feel this way. I assume you are in good health too? Don't you realize that there are millions of people who are old and sick and worn out that would trade places with you in a heart beat? You need to get some help or medication or whatever it takes and get yourself together. Life is going to pass you by. Don't let that happen, it would be so sad.

And I would give one of those people that chance.. I don't value my life. heck, they would probobly do a much better job at making something useful out of this body...

DW, I don't know what to say. You aren't around here that much so I don't "know you." All I know is that you are young and unhappy. I'm sure you have your reasons, but there is nothing so bad that it can't be fixed. You need to talk to someone. Things really do get better as you get older.

man dont say that your a cool guy, seems like you just need to meet new friends and get out more and just relax a little.

hopefully things work out for ya

My parents (although they don't always feel the same about me).

My physical might (from almost nothing to almost anything).

My strength of character. Never have I let it stray. Never will I, either.

My intelligence (but I feel it's more innate, and not quite as pride evoking).

My capacity to love those who truly need and deserve love.

The little and not so little acts of generosity that I have performed when no one was watching and no one will ever know about.

All of the baby animals I have reared.

All of the individual animals of endangered and threatened species that I have cared for.

The new populations of endangered and threatened species I have established in places people don't visit yet.

The plants I have grown.

My thirst for all things that cause personal growth.

If you have read the posts that i did under "What screwed you up the most emotionally" and "Is something wrong or am I just insane?" You would see that I have nothing, nothing but my health.

And I am very healthy! Meaning that I will be on this earth hating people for a very, VERY long time!

Doing my first bodybuilding contest at age 17 (and winning). I was a painfully shy kid and it took alot for me get up there in front of 500+ people in my underwear.

I am proud of a lot of my friends.

I am proud of my learning disabled sister who has better than a 3.0 GPA and has completed her first year of College (when the MSU higher ups told her that she has no business going to college).

I am proud of my two workout partners for qualifying for NASS Nationals.

I dunno...I'm not sure that I have a lot of Pride...

NF I with you about the running..

I was really into long distance running..
And I ran 22 miles.

Right now I help run a company and I'm really proud of that.

The fact that I actually own a house, when I believed that my debt would keep me from owning one. I should have bought one a loooooong time ago.

My army career. While I didn't do anything spectacular (SF or Ranger), it certainly made a difference in how I am now living. I certainly wouldn't be where I am now without it.

I'm proud of my vast intelligence and my ability to woo women into bed within minutes of meeting them.

Oh wait, that's not humble enough:

I'm just proud to know all you guys here!

Every time I fart and it doesn't result in me crapping my pants, I have to say that I sort of well up with a little bit of pride.

That said, it is a never ending pit of despair and shame when I fart and unload in my pants.

I can only hope that today is a good day.

Pamela! That's awesome!

I know we are right down the road from one another...so anytime you feel like a run...shoot me a pm and I'll be glad to join you! :)

Guys/gals...these are all great! Even WODIN's bellybutton lint collection! :lmao:

For those of you who say that you have nothing to be proud of...think harder... I am a true believer that everyone in this world has something to be proud of.

Being able to find clear water in the Keys.

Not the MOST proud moment, but... When I was in 11th grade in High School I was failing English class BIG TIME. I had a 32 average the first semester a 26 average the 2nd semester. (1-100) 100 being the best.

The teacher would talk to everyone individually in the middle of the year to tell them where they`re headed or what they need to do. Well when It was my turn she said "I really don`t know what to tell you" "you`re gonna have to pull a miracle to even pass this class." Well, the next semester I got a 96 and the last one I got a 101. After she anounced the 101 to the class. EVERYBODY applauded. I passed and was proud at that.

Moral, If you really want it, you can do it.

This is a really hard question......

I guess I am proud at how I perform at work. It really seems like everyone loves me here. Where ever I go, people are always pulling me aside for techie help, or diet advice.

I lost 20 pounds. I am proud of that. I am always given compliments at work on how slim I look and people actually look up to me for advice and answers.

I am a good mom(animal mom) to my pets. They all love me. I try really hard to make sure that they have what they need. I go without sometimes so that I know that they have the vet care and other things that they require.

I guess that's it....

Druken weasle,

I really don't excel at any one thing either. But you know what I did when it started to bother me? I learned lots of everything. So rather than being great at one thing, I am good at lots of things.

You workout right? Maybe you can volunteer your time at your local Y or something. Help some young boys and girls out that are struggling with self image problems. I bet it would boost you up and give you purpose. Just try it. It can't hurt. :D

I`m proud of the fact that I was selfless enough to purchase a house RIGHT NEXT DOOR to my In-Laws. Yes the privacy will never be the same. Yes the MIL comes over more often and is part of our lives more often. Yes it`s "a crazy idea" but...

we knew we were going to have a baby right after we bought the house and my MIL is THE HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD, To come and visit her (first) grandaughter and play with her. The whole situation of her being next to us/grandaughter changed her whole life. I AM PROUD OF THAT.

I never thought I would sacrifice and do something that selfless when I was younger, but you grow...

"EVERYBODY LOVES GONELIFTING" Fridays at 8, 7 central lol

I'm really not that proud of myself either, because I dont feel as though I've done much to be proud of (yet).

I am proud of going to the college I wanted to go to, which is a perinial top 5 public university.

I painted watercooler beach scenes on a birdhouse when I was like 13 or 14 and I really cant believe I did it now. I shit you not it looks professional. I'm looking at it right now actually. No one believed I did it, I barely even believed it. I should try and take a picture of it.

I used to be pretty good at competitive shooting, but I'm not really that proud of that for some reason.

I'm proud of the complete and utter OWNAGE I lay on Nature Bear day in and day out.

Graduating Marine Corps boot camp. There is nothing in the world to describe the feeling of being on the parade deck and hearing them play the Marine Corps hymn for you!

Proudest day of my life.

When I sit down and think of all the things in my life that I am proud of, it makes me not take them for granted.

I am so proud of my mom lately. She's really been struggling with losing weight and she's finally doing it! She's dropped 20 lbs so far!

I'm proud of being healthy and of having a family that loves me so very much.

More, people! :D

Despite the way things turned out, I'm pretty proud of the way I treated my ex. I moved heaven and earth for that guy.

Bah...

Since you're too modest to say it for yourself, I might as well do it.

You're probably one of the hardest workers out there. You put a lot of damn work into your training, and the lifestyle that complements it. You lift a lot of heavy shit, and you carry some of that shit from point A to point B. You recently earned your pro card. You are highly dedicated and have made sacrifices so that you can be the best strongman possible (this is your dream, and you are following it...how many others can say that?). You come across as a nice, thoughtful, and helpful person. You are an inspiration to others, both online and in real life, because of the example you set.

Not too bad.

Not really sure.

Graduating high school and college, I guess.
Having a full-time job at 21 is cool. Not really want i want to do, but it's a good start probably.

That's about all I have. I suck.
