Myth/spot fat reduction

So I've always believed that it's the biggest myth that to loose fat in certain areas u exercise those areas right? All diet and Im still confident it's mostly diet... But is there any truth to that myth at all? Like I here woman say I wana work out my back arm cuz the got a lil flab there...an ofcourse u see fat people hogin the crunch machine all the time... But if ur pretty lean already can u target areas for fat loss or is it a 100% myth

yes... people who do ab workouts 10 minutes 7 days a week still have flabby belly's. That's why everyone says to do cardio if you want a 6 pack, not endless ab exercises

I've been hittin abbs 4-5 days a week and my mid section keeps getting leaner, yes my diets in check an I do cardio n hit weights heavy, but I'm thinking that there is some truth to this myth jus trying to figure how much credit to give it 5% maybe.... Anyone else wana comment?

maybe your abs are showing through a bit more because the have thickened up a little from the extra ab work you have been doing...

i def think its a myth. i hardly ever work abs and i don't have a lot of fat in that area anymore. it feels and looks hard and lean. if this theory worked i'd have some very lean hips and ass instead of a soft and fat.

the only site specific fat loss method is surgery.
