Hi there.

I´m a male, currently about 158 pounds, 15-16% bf wanting to get down to 10-11% bf.

I´ve estimated my maintenance calories to be about 2600 a day, which I cut down to 2100 to diet.

Then, I decided to use the 40p/40c/20f ratio on every meal, from morning to evening, spread in five meals: 3 main meals consisting of 55 grams protein, 55 grams carbs and 12 grams fat, and two snacks consisting of 96 grams protein, 96 grams carbs, 5 grams fat.

3 hours After every main meal or about 2 hours after every snack I have another meal. Sometimes I take longer between meals and I end up eating only 4 meals a day.

Of course, no High GI carbs during the evening.

I believe this kind of diet has helped me curb my cravings for sweets, so will it work? I am doing HIIT and weight lifting to help of course:)

you're cutting w/that many carbs?

What "snacks" have 96 grams of carbs???????????

BTW, setting up your pro/carbs/fats in the ratios you have will make you a smaller, just as fat, person.

(meaning, you are set to lose muscle and fat together, not very ideal)

You never even mentioned cardio.......

Sorry my bad!

the snacks consist of about 24 grams carbs, 24 grams protein and 5 grams fat, and NOT 96 grams carbs! lol

As far as cardio is concerned, I´m doing HIIT for like 20-30 minutes every other day combined with weight training the other days.

I plan on doing a small refeed once every week.
 
That´s a lot of protein for me mate, even taking shakes...

Also I need the carbs, or else I get sugar cravings which really suck... I can stick to the 40/40/20 ratio, which is a good thing...

I know it would takew longer but probably I´ll have more energy wich is always good. I´m having 13x my BW in calories, I might cut that a bit... After 1 week of dieting (today was my refeed day), I am still at 16%... Hope next week I´ll be 15% :|
